Kilrush Credit Union identified
the need to replace and enhance
their existing document storage
and retrieval process. A key
objective was to make all
documents available to staff to
improve the level of service to
members and reduce the need for
Physical document handling.
Kilrush Credit Union also
required the facility to
outsource scanning of existing
documentation. The documentation
on members consists of loan
applications / agreements,
promissory notes, deeds, general
correspondence, Invoices and
other associated records. The
final solution was required for
use by all staff members and
importantly needed to be
scalable to meet future growth
and flexible to cater for
changing environments.

The Kilrush Credit Union was
founded in 1968, in its first
year the membership was 375
today the Credit Union has
expanded dramatically to 10,000
members and now occupies a
landmark building in Market
Square, Kilrush, Co. Clare.
Kilrush Credit Union currently
employs 15 highly skilled
financial services staff ably
supported by a very active team
of volunteers from the local
community. In addition to the
core business of savings and
loans other services now include
Home Union Insurance, VHI
Membership, Bureau de Change,
Sterling Drafts, Gift Cheques,
and Western Union Money
