Tonge Group Ltd

Tonge Group Ltd incorporating Tonge Insurances Ltd & Tonge (Investment & Pension Consultants) Ltd was founded in 1939 by the late Bernard W. Tonge on his return to Ireland after a distinguished insurance career in the U.S.A. Mr. Tonge was a member of the highly respected Dublin Iron Foundry family of the era.

In 1978, the company was purchased by Denis Nolan and he was joined on the board by Denis Walsh, now retired.
Aidan Waters joined Tonge in 1986 and joined the board in 1989. In 2000, Aidan purchased Tonge Insurances Ltd with Denis Nolan retaining Tonge (Investment & Pension Consultants) Ltd. Both companies are both situate in Greenmount Office Park and continue to serve mutual clients for both Life and General Insurance.
 
Tonge Insurances Ltd are members of Irish Brokers Association and Small Firms Association in addition to recent members of Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
